28 Oct 2019

Dean Wilson LLP has once again been recognised as leaders in their field in the South of England for their work in Property Litigation.

The team, led by Claire Whiteman was said by Chambers and Partners  to be “well equipped to handle a wide range of property related matters such as landlord and tenant disputes”. They noted the team “regularly advises on breach of covenant, forfeiture matters and dilapidation claims” and further recognised our work in “commercial lease renewals in the retail sector, service chare recovery disputes in the residential sphere and enfranchisement matters”.

Legal 500 say we are “experienced in lease extension and enfranchisement claims, and matters concerning rent and service charge arrears. Property-related statutory enforcement (including HMO licensing, noise abatement and Community Assets Listing) is an area of recent growth for the firm”.

We are especially pleased to read the positive testimonials the publications received from our clients which included praise for how we conduct a “strategic assessment of all the options available”, provide “practical advice with down to earth language” and how we are “very tough in negotiations”.

Claire Whiteman and Gabrielle Moffatt received notable praise and were identified as leading lawyers but credit goes to the entire team and their capabilities in looking after the client base and the breadth of cases that they deal with.

Clients commented that Claire Whiteman is “at the top of her game, approachable and maintains a quiet confidence.”

Gabrielle Moffatt  was recognised “for her capabilities in handling landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals and CVAs”.

The team act for a wide range of clients in resolving all types of property disputes, including landlord and tenant matters. Should you wish to get in touch with the team please call us on 01273 249200 or email:
