Family Law Services
Our team of separation & divorce solicitors in Brighton are here to help.
The reality of modern life is that divorces & separations have become increasingly common. Before beginning proceedings you should seek advice on how best to proceed and whether it is in your best interest. At the initial consultation, we will discuss our fixed and flexible pricing plans which are available for divorce.
If your partner is seeking a divorce, a solicitor can help you understand your rights, entitlements and obligations. A solicitor is also equipped to advise you in relation to financial and child arrangements. Please call us on 01273 249200 to discuss further.
The key difference between divorce and dissolution lies in the nature of the legal relationship being terminated. Divorce applies to marriages, whereas dissolution applies to civil partnerships.
A separation agreement can be drawn up if you haven’t decided whether to divorce or dissolve your civil partnership or if you are unable to do so at present. It sets out your financial arrangements while you are separated and be converted to a Consent Order at a later stage.
