Dean Wilson Solicitors LLP have been instructed by the family of Marcella Walton. An inquest touching on her death is due to take place in Worthing Coroner’s Court between 7-9 June 2022.
Marcella was hit by a train on 1 May 2021. She had expressed suicidal thoughts in the weeks prior to her death and there were missed opportunities by mental health services to intervene.
The Inquest is one of six inquests being heard this year in the West Sussex area involving children who are suspected of taking their own lives.
The inquest will open in front of Senior Coroner Penelope Schofield on 8 June 2022.
