Good Divorce Week

26 Nov 2018

Our Family Team continues their good divorce week campaign for a change in legislation to allow “no-fault” divorces.

Our Family Team have contacted our local MPs in both Brighton and Hove, with Caroline Lucas and Peter Kyle confirming their intention to support the good divorce week campaign for a change in the law.

As Julian says “Divorce is difficult enough.  The legal requirement to assign blame makes it harder for couples to reach an amicable agreement.  Our divorce laws are now over 50 years old and it cannot be right where both parties agree when a relationship is over they must still apportion blame if they wish to waive the 2-year waiting period.”
