A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor (NQ – 2 years PQE) to join our busy and highly regarded Company Commercial team. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive, forward‑thinking department acting for a broad national client base.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working closely with the Head of Department and senior colleagues, developing your expertise within a friendly and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in a wide variety of corporate work, including:
- Drafting and negotiating documents for Mergers & Acquisitions, including share and asset purchase agreements
- Supporting clients in preparing their businesses for sale
- Conducting and reviewing legal due diligence
- Advising on corporate structuring, such as shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and joint venture agreements
- Preparing reports and ancillary documentation for transactional matters
- Assisting with the co‑ordination, project management and smooth running of transactions
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
- NQE to 2 years PQE
- Experience in corporate legal services (essential)
- Exposure to employment or commercial law (advantageous)
- Strong drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with clients both in person and by phone
- A proactive, positive approach and willingness to learn
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team
