Receptionist

Dean Wilson LLP is a leading law firm specialising in Residential and Commercial Property law, Dispute Resolution and Litigation, Personal and Medical Injury, Corporate law, Private Client, Family law, and Employment Law. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our clients while fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace environment for our team members. We are currently seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors at our office.

Salary: £23,750

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls and taking messages as necessary.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Assist with client intake forms, ID documents and basic inquiries about services.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.
  • Provide administrative support to the general office team as needed.
  • Handling and logging all deliveries.
  • Managing the visitor car park.

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.

Excellent communication, strong organisational skills and time-management abilities are essential for this role. Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, phone systems, etc.). 

The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. A positive, proactive attitude and a high level of professionalism.

Knowledge of legal terminology or previous experience in a law firm is a plus but not required.

This role is for a full-time position with working hours of: 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday. However, we may consider two part-timers commencing the following hours either 9 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday OR 1 pm to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
