NEW SECTION 8 NOTICE FROM 1 DECEMBER 2016

The Immigration Act 2016 has introduced a new mandatory ground for possession where a tenant or occupier does not have a right to rent. The section 8 notice has been updated by the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2016 in order to reflect the new ground for possession.

New Section 8 Notice

All landlords must ensure the new section 8 notice is used as of 1 December 2016, and this can be found in the schedule to the Regulations.
